Why Do You Need Someone Trade For You?

Most of people think trading is easy. Buy and sell, what is so hard? But they don't think, if it is that easy, every single person on this planet would be a trader. Every single person would count money at home. Life is not like that. Imagine, can you become a successful lawyer after reading some law books? Can you become a good doctor after reading some medical papers? The answer is no, obviously. Then why would you expect yourself to be a good trader just after some trading books? It requires a lot more than that, which you might find out yourself after years of hard works, but why bother? Focus on what you are good at and leave the job to the professional, leave it to ME.

What Makes Me Different?

* I have traded stock for a living for over 11 years. I have never had another full time job in my life. I've been there, I've done that.

* I don't attempt to become your financial planner that is not my specialty; you could have someone else to take care of that. I don't have mutual funds or 401K plans or life insurance etc to sell you, those are for pussies. I am here to trade, to make you money, to grow your account.

* I am a momentum trader, who seek short-term gains. Whenever I buy a stock, my goal is to capture a 10% or better gain in less than 5 trading days. If a stock is not moving as I expected, I am out, so I could have less risk.

* Our fund is small, I limit it under $15 million. So we will have a much higher return rate than traditional hedge funds. Check out my performance here. All my clients are like you and me, they are small investors who want a higher return but rejected by the bigger hedge funds' accredited investor status. I also concentrate our portfolio in a small number of stocks (typically 10 to 20).

* Risk Management: I attempt to sidestep major market declines by moving to largely in cash when market conditions are starting to deteriorate. I will also use sell short technique to profit from a bear market.

* My goal is to have a MUCH better return in an up or down market. But safety is always my priority.

Philosophy: My approach may best be described as short-term aggressive growth with managed risk. Aggressive growth stocks provide outstanding returns under healthy market conditions. But they also come with a high degree of risk. I attempt to limit that risk by by sitting on cash OR selling short during unfavorable market conditions.

Managed Accounts

How It Works: Clients open a brokerage account in their own name (or the name of their trust or corporation), with authorization to buy, sell, sell short and cover given to UCLATRADER Management, Inc.

Minimum Investment: The minimum initial investment is $100,000. Please note: these $100,000 is the money you won't use for the next couple of years. If this is your life savings that you can't bear losses, I DARE NOT take it.

Minimum Length: 1 year.

Brokerage: We ask that clients use Interactive Brokers (www.interactivebrokers.com)

Management Fee: UCLATRADER Management charges a yearly management fee, payable at the beginning of each year. The fee is 1% of the assets under management at the beginning of each year.

Incentives: UCLATRADER Management charges performance incentives, 30% of the profit, at end of each quarters.
